Luxury Cashmere & Lambswool

Cashmere

As a renewable and sustainable fibre, Cashmere is collected from the soft downy underbelly of Cashmere goats that live in high altitudes and after a series of skilled processes still retains its soft loftiness and superb warmth, while still retaining its supreme luxurious look and feel. No wonder Cashmere is highly renowned across the World to be one of Nature’s finest fibres reserved to make the most luxurious and illustrious fashion garments and labels, like Burberry and now ‘Lawrence’s Seven Pillars of Khaki’ Tartan.

Lambswool

Merino Lambswool fibre is highly prized for being the softest, lightest and warmest of all wool from any sheep. Merino lambswool is usually collected for the first time, from Merino lambs at about 7 months old. The lambs then go on to grow into maturity producing a new fleece every year, making Merino wool fully renewable, sustainable and as an all-natural fibre, biodegradable. Merino wool is also much finer then other wool and so feels softer and kinder against one’s skin, which makes it an ideal choice for scarves, hats, socks and sweaters, outperforming man-made fabrics in terms of its superior qualities for regulating temperature and moisture control as well as breathability.
These exceptionally high-quality fibres then undergo more than 30 different processes steeped in a centuries rich manufacturing heritage and tradition by artisan craftsmen and women who take the raw fibre and transform it into our unique tartan, ‘Lawrence Seven Pillars of Khaki’.
